My hair obsession now

This little curler has completely replaced my curling iron. I put it in about an hour before bed with my hair about 70% dry, secure the clips, sleep through the night, and wake up looking like I actually tried. My hair is medium thickness and wavy to begin with so maybe that helps, but the waves I get from this are so much softer and healthier-looking than anything I got with heat tools. Already bought two more as gifts for friends.

Absolutely love this thing!

I was so skeptical at first because I have thick, coarse hair that never holds curls — but honestly this exceeded every expectation. I wrap it in at night while my hair is slightly damp, sleep on it comfortably (the satin is so soft against my pillow), and wake up to the prettiest loose waves. Been using it for about 6 weeks now and it's become part of my nightly routine. Packaging was cute and arrived in 4 days. Total game changer for avoiding heat damage.

Nice idea, average execution

The concept is great and I love that it's heatless, but the clips that hold the hair in place feel a bit flimsy. I sleep pretty actively and it tends to come undone by morning which means the curls don't always set properly. When it does stay in place overnight the waves are genuinely lovely though — soft and bouncy. Might try sewing an extra tie onto it to keep it more secure.

Je l'adore! My hair has never looked so naturally wavy without any heat. I use a little leave-in conditioner before wrapping and the waves last all day. Completely worth every cent.

Really happy with this purchase overall! I have fine, straight hair that normally refuses to hold any kind of curl and even I managed to get soft waves that stayed until about 3pm. I do use a light styling mousse before wrapping which definitely helps with hold. The satin is smooth and doesn't cause frizz like a cotton hair tie would. Shipping was fast — arrived in 3 days with standard shipping. Only minor complaint is that the color I received was slightly different from the product photo.

Works well, just takes practice

The first couple of times I used this the curls came out a bit uneven because I wasn't wrapping the sections tightly enough. Once I watched a tutorial and got the technique right, the results were really nice — soft, natural-looking waves that lasted most of the day. The satin material feels gentle and I haven't noticed extra breakage like I do with elastic bands. Delivery to Germany took about 10 days which was fine. Knocking one star off only because the instructions included are pretty minimal.

Didn't work for my hair type

I bought this for my daughter who has 4C natural hair and it just didn't deliver the results we hoped for. The curls barely showed up even after leaving it in all night with damp hair. Maybe it works better for looser hair textures but for tight coils it was pretty much useless. The satin rod itself feels cheap for the price and one of the clips snapped off after the third use.

Fell apart quickly

The satin fabric started fraying after just two weeks of use and the inner rod cracked. Poor build quality for something meant to be used daily.

Decent but not perfect

Bought this for my partner and she's had mixed results honestly. Some mornings the waves look gorgeous and other mornings they're just a bit flat and weird. We think it has a lot to do with how damp the hair is when you wrap it — too wet and it stays damp all night, too dry and there's no curl. It's a learning curve. The satin feels nice quality though and it came well packaged. Might be better for thinner hair types.
