Not quite what I expected

It came in a thin plastic bag with no instructions at all. My wife tried using it but couldn't figure out the wrapping technique and the curls barely showed up in her hair. The rod itself feels a bit flimsy honestly. For the price, I thought it would come with at least a small guide. We might try again after looking up videos but so far disappointed.

Really happy with this purchase. My natural hair is 4A type and I wasn't sure if this would work for me, but the waves actually come out defined and beautiful when I apply a bit of leave-in conditioner before wrapping. The satin doesn't rough up my hair cuticles at all. Shipping to Canada took about a week which was fine.

Decent but not a miracle

Works okay for loose waves but don't expect tight curls. My hair is medium thickness and the results were alright — soft beach waves that faded by late afternoon. The satin material is good quality though and it's comfortable to sleep in. Probably better suited to people with thinner hair.

Lovely product, small issues

I really like this for the most part. The curls are beautiful and my hair feels healthier since I stopped using my curling iron every morning. My only complaint is that the elastic band that came with it snapped after about three weeks of daily use. I replaced it with a scrunchie and it works perfectly now. Would still recommend overall for the quality of the satin rod itself.
